Q. How do I apply Mole-otov Cocktail?
A. Simply attach a garden hose to the special applicator spray bottle in which the one quart Mole-otov Cocktail comes. If you buy the half gallon or gallon refill size, make sure you also order the quart size bottle. The quart size applicator bottle is designed to mix the Castor Oil formula with water so it will soak into the ground. Other applicator bottles don't do this. Soak the ground you wish to treat. One quart treats 10,000 sq. ft. After applying, you may wish to further soak the area with water to make sure the product penetrates deep into the ground. You do not pour it down or around the gopher or mole holes.
Q. How does Mole-otov Cocktail work?
A. Mole-otov Cocktail works three ways.
#1. The castor oil formula interferes with the sense of smell of most ground burrowing animals so they can't smell their food.
#2. The castor oil makes the grubs, worms and plant matter moles and gophers (and most other ground digging animals) eat taste bad. It will not harm the critters moles seek out for their meals, or your plants. The moles and gophers in your yard will seek new feeding grounds.
#3. The castor oil gets on the hair of moles, which interferes with their sense of hearing. They feel vibrations made by underground bugs through their body hair and with impaired "hearing" are unable to locate their food.
Q. How often do I have to apply Mole-otov Cocktail?
A. Use Mole-otov Cocktail immediately after the presence of moles is detected, or in early Spring, mid-summer and early Fall if you suspect they are in the area. If you know they are present, reapply every month or two.

A. Yes, Mole-otov cocktail is safe to use in areas frequented by children and pets.

Q. Will Mole-otov Cocktail work with other animals?
A. Mole-otov Cocktail works well against chipmunks. Mole-otov Cocktail has about a 40 - 50% efficacy rate with voles and ground-hogs. It will keep skunks from digging in the ground (will not keep them out of your yard). Will not work against possums, woodchucks, raccoons, dogs or cats.
